Theft Minimization by Implementing ERP System at Alcohol Production Plant

Company’s profile: manufacturer of alcoholic beverages, over 500 employees.

Major Challenges the Business Faces:

High level of theft at the company. Absence of a pass-through management, production process and warehouse accounting system.

Tasks:

  1. To minimize theft by implementation of automated control functions.
  2. Building up transparent management, production process and warehouse accounting.

Work Carried out by AFB:

  1. Creation of management accounting procedures that allow to improve manageability of business and to minimize theft within the company.
  2. Implementation of automated company management system based on 1C: Production Enterprise Management 8. Relevant companies (system integrators) have been engaged to carry out engineering operations. 

The Result:

  1. The system has been put into trial operation.
  2. Management accounting and transparent financial reporting allowed to identify cases of and causes for bad faith management at the company.
  3. Dishonest employees in Logistics, Operations and Procurement Departments have been dismissed or resigned.
  4. The level of losses and shortfalls has been decreased by 50% as compared to the last year.
